Scotland’s Guinness Women’s Six Nations 2025 campaign will start at home to Wales at Hive Stadium in Edinburgh on Saturday, March 22 and in total they will have three matches in the capital.

The men’s competition finishes on March 15 and then seven days later the women’s event will get going.

It runs from March 22 until April 26 and will be played a few months before August and September’s Rugby World Cup in England so it will be crucial preparation and a key time for players looking to seal their spots in the squad at the latter event.

Earlier this year at Cardiff Arms Park in their tournament opener Scotland won in Wales for the first time in 20 years when they edged to a 20-18 success.

As well as Wales in round one, Scotland will be at home at the Hive to Italy on Sunday, April 13 in round three and to Ireland in round five on Super Saturday on April 26.

Fans will be able to watch every minute of the action, from every game, thanks to worldwide live broadcast coverage, which includes the BBC in the UK, and France Télévisions covering the Championship for audiences in France. Virgin Media and RTÉ both offer coverage of fixtures in Ireland, and Sky Italia will continue their support of rugby in Italy through their broadcast coverage.

Scotland finished fourth in the 2024 event after two wins from five, but have currently won nine of their last 12 Test matches in total and will be after a top three finish in 2025 as they sit sixth in the world rankings.
