Glasgow booked their place in next weekend’s URC final with a stunning win away at Munster.

Warriors went into the game as heavy underdogs but tries from Kyle Steyn and Sebastian Cancelliere helped them to a famous semi-final victory at Thomond Park

And their reward is a trip to Pretoria to play the Bulls next weekend when the URC title will be on the line.

Here is how Franco Smith’s players performed:

15 Josh McKay

Nervy few moments for the full-back after a high fend on Antoine Frisch but TMO and referee agreed that it didn’t merit a card. Brilliant run at start of second half got Glasgow up the park. 7

14 Sebastian Cancelliere

Thought he was racing in for Glasgow’s second try only for the referee’s whistle to halt him in his tracks. Was no stopping him in the second period as he burst over to extend Warriors’ lead. 7

13 Huw Jones

Executed a brilliant covering tackle on Simon Zebo to deny the veteran winger a first-half score. Stunning burst of pace teed up Cancelliere for Glasgow’s second try. 7

12 Sione Tuipulotu

Typical powerful run nearly led to an early Glasgow score before centre was stopped just before the line. As industrious as ever on both sides of the ball and never stopped working. 8

11 Kyle Steyn

Powered away against the run of play for the opening try of the game after pouncing on sloppy Munster handling. Always willing to thunder down the line. 7

10 Tom Jordan

The red card villain of last year’s playoff tie was typically tenacious in his play and never slow to join in with a ruck. Helped set up Glasgow’s second try with a brave run from deep. 8

9 George Horne

First-half kick out on the full was a rare error of judgement from the ever-lively scrum-half who pulled a penalty effort wide but atoned with a clinical conversion minutes later. 7

1 Jamie Bhatti

Scotland prop scrummed well against Stephen Archer and always available for a pass in the loose too. 6

2 Johnny Matthews

A couple of loose line-out deliveries aside, this was another solid performance from the hooker, even if the maul couldn’t drive him over for his usual try. 6

3 Zander Fagerson

An ever-willing ball carrier who again got through a power of work to keep his team in the contest. 7

4 Scott Cummings

Couldn’t quite direct the Glasgow line-out as hoped with Munster stealing one or two deliveries. Put in a brilliant shift in open play. 6

5 Richie Gray

Pinged for line-out interference as Glasgow’s penalty count grew steadily throughout the first half and then sent to the bin for a yellow card for going offside. 6

6 Matt Fagerson

Involved in a bit of a running battle with Peter O’Mahony as tempers frayed. Sent to the bin at the end of the first half after a swinging arm accidentally caught O’Mahony in the follow through. But an absolute giant with his tackling. 8

7 Rory Darge

Brilliant turnover won midway through the first half prevented an almost certain Munster try and repeated the trick midway through the second period. 7

8 Jack Dempsey

Barrelled into touch at one point by three Munster players to the delight of the home fans. But never shirked a tackle or chance to carry. 7
