Damien Hoyland has returned to Edinburgh Rugby on a short-term deal.
The back-three option parted ways with the club last year, moving to the United States and playing as a full-back for Old Glory DC in the American capital.
There, Hoyland helped the MLR outfit reach the Major League Rugby Conference semi-finals, where they ultimately lost to New England.
Before moving Stateside, Hoyland, who turns 31 in January of next year, spent 10 years at Edinburgh, accruing over 100 appearances in that time.
The news of Hoyland's return to Edinburgh was announced on the club's official X account (formerly Twitter) today.
Club centurion @DamienHoyland has returned to the club short-term, with the back-three player available for selection in the team's upcoming fixtures.
