Gregor Townsend is set to make wholesale changes again this week as his Scotland side reverts to the one that faced Fiji and South Africa.

After defeat to the world champions, Townsend made 14 changes to the team that thrashed Portugal 59-21 on Saturday.

For the final time this autumn, our writers have stepped into Gregor Townsend's shoes and selected their teams to play Australia on Sunday.

The two points worthy of most debate are if the performances of Tom Jordan are worthy of getting him in the starting XV, and if the answer is in the affirmative, how best to do so.

Blair Kinghorn did not set the heather alight on the wing but Townsend has already suggested he would be considered heavily in his favoured fullback role having not started there so far this campaign.

Bayliss could prove a handy option on a 6/2 bench.

My Scotland XV: Blair Kinghorn, Darcy Graham, Huw Jones, Sione Tuipulotu (captain), Duhan van der Merwe, Finn Russell, Ben White; Pierre Schoeman, Ewan Ashman, Zander Fagerson, Grant Gilchrist, Scott Cummings, Jamie Ritchie, Rory Darge, Matt Fagerson

Replacements: Dylan Richardson, Rory Sutherland, Will Hurd, Alex Samuel, Luke Crosbie, Josh Bayliss, George Horne, Tom Jordan

Blair Kinghorn gets a start in his preferred fullback position in what is Scotland's first-choice back division. Up front, the same pack that faced the Springboks goes again, with Bayliss in for the injured Dempsey.

There is a six-two split on the bench, with Alex Craig and Luke Crosbie earning their places after strong showings against Portugal. Tom Jordan's versatility is key to covering almost all of the backs.

The return of Scott Cummings from suspension keeps Alex Craig narrowly out of the starting line-up, while the remainder of the first-choice side returns. Ben White showed enough against South Africa to take the number nine shirt.

Bayliss again gets the nod to replace Dempsey at the base of the Scotland scrum, and Will Hurd's strong outing against Portugal earns him a spot on the bench.
