Newly-capped Scotland international Tom Jordan is set to leave Glasgow Warriors at the end of the season and join Bristol Bears.

Jordan made his Scotland debut in the win over Fiji and earned a first start against South Africa last weekend after impressing for the Warriors since joining from Ayrshire Bulls in 2021.

He was an integral part of the side that won the United Rugby Championship (URC) last season but now seems set to join the Gallagher Premiership outfit.

But Jordan, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has been forced to share the fly-half duties with Adam Hastings following the latter's summer arrival from Gloucester.

And with Sione Tuipulotu committing his future to the club last week, Jordan - who can also play centre, and won his first Scotland caps at fullback - seems to be heading for the Scotstoun exit.

RugbyPass first reported news of Jordan's impending Scotstoun departure on Wednesday, while on Thursday, The Daily Telegraph claims the 26-year-old will sign a three-year contract at Ashton Gate.

He will join former Edinburgh number eight Bill Mata in the Bristol squad. The Bears have been in the market for a fly-half and reportedly made a lucrative offer to England international Marcus Smith in an attempt to lure him from Harlequins, but Smith opted to sign a new contract at The Stoop.

Glasgow Warriors declined to comment.
