Ben Healy will again play for Edinburgh 'A' this weekend, the Scotland fly-half having been named in the team to play Glasgow Warriors 'A' at Scotstoun on Friday.

Healy was a virtual ever-present for Edinburgh last season but was dropped last week with head coach Sean Everitt saying he felt his side were "directionless" in their 55-21 hammering by the Lions.

In the absence of the former Munster fly-half, Ross Thompson was outstanding in the win over the Stormers, and will likely keep his place with Cammy Scott - who came off the bench late on against the South Africans - likely to retain his bench spot.

Healy's try-scoring exploits in defeat to Bath United last weekend have not been enough to earn him a recall, and his place in the Scotland squad for next month's Autumn Nations Series must be in serious doubt.

Elsewhere for Edinburgh, there is another start for Scotland international Harry Paterson at fullback as he continues his comeback from injury, while another full cap, Ross McCann, features at outside centre.

Harri Morris, who made his first appearance for the senior side for more than three years last weekend, also starts at hooker. That suggests one of, or both, of Dave Cherry and Ewan Ashman are back fit after missing the Stormers win with ankle and concussion issues, respectively.

Edinburgh are without prop Javan Sebastian, though. He suffered a shoulder injury late in the defeat to Bath and is likely to be sidelined for the foreseeable.

Meanwhile, British and Irish Lions prop Allan Dell will make his comeback from injury for Glasgow in the match, which is being played behind closed doors at Scotstoun.

Summer signing Fin Richardson packs down beside Dell and Angus Fraser in the front-row, while Sean Kennedy brings experience at scrum-half.

The Glasgow side is captained by Duncan Munn.
