Edinburgh have made three changes from the side that lost to Leinster last weekend as they prepare to face the Bulls in Pretoria on Saturday.
All three alterations are injury-related, with Matt Currie and Mosese Tuipulotu both out of the trip to Loftus Versfeld with hamstring injuries.
They are replaced by Matt Scott - who scored Edinburgh's fifth try against Leinster - and his fellow Scotland cap Mark Bennett.
Elsewhere, Ben Muncaster has a hip problem and is replaced at number eight by Magnus Bradbury.
The rest of the pack is unchanged, meaning Pierre Schoeman starts alongside Dave Cherry and Paul Hill in the front row, with Marshall Sykes partnering captain Grant Gilchrist at lock.
Ali Price and Ross Thompson retain their starting half-back berths, while Duhan van der Merwe - who scored two tries against Leinster - partners Darcy Graham on the wings, with Wes Goosen again at fullback.
The spots vacated on the bench due to Scott and Bradbury being promoted into the starting XV are taken by Tom Dodd and new Scotland cap Ross McCann.
Edinburgh head coach Sean Everitt said: “We’ve been able to have a consistent line-up after the first game. There are a couple of small injuries, however the players in the side deserve their shots, with Magnus and Matt both putting in good displays last week.
“We know the challenge that awaits us at Loftus. It will be a tough match but we’ve had a good week and are ready for the fight.”
The Bulls, meanwhile, have former Edinburgh fly-half Jaco van der Walt among their side, which will be led by Akker van der Merwe - brother of Duhan.
Canan Moodie has been released by the Springboks, who play Argentina in The Rugby Championship, and starts on the wing, while fellow South Africa cap Johan Grobbelaar is among the replacements.
