Scotland international Meryl Smith joined host Bruce Aitchison and editor Gavin Harper on the latest edition of the Scotland Rugby News podcast. 

The 23-year-old centre discussed the team's upcoming campaign, which starts with friendlies against Wales and Fiji at Hive Stadium as they prepare to defend their WXV 2 title in South Africa next month. 

The Bristol Bears back also discussed her own ambition of playing for the British and Irish Lions.
