Injuries to Scotland pair Finn Russell and Cam Redpath have been described as "significant" by their club Bath.
Both players picked up the injuries in a Champions Cup defeat to Exeter earlier this month and could keep them out of action into next season.
Russell was the first to head off the pitch after suffering a groin injury and Bath have updated their fans to reveal it is a significant one and they’ll be keeping an eye on it on a week-to-week basis.
It is expected that Russell would have been left at home this summer instead of going on Scotland’s tour of the Americas to face Canada, USA, Chile and Uruguay but it could be the case that he will still be injured when the time comes around.

It’s a similar story for Redpath with Bath confirming his injury is once again significant. He injured his ankle and has suffered ligament damage later in the same game and it is likely to keep him out of action for the rest of the current season.
Bath have stated they will assess his injury weekly, but it looks likely to rule him out for a lengthy period.
Their statement said: “Cameron sustained significant ankle ligament damage in the Investec Champions Cup Round of 16 tie against Exeter Chiefs. His availability will be assessed weekly.
“Finn suffered a significant groin injury in the Investec Champions Cup Round of 16 tie against Exeter Chiefs. His availability will be assessed weekly.”
