Edinburgh will return to South Africa and face Sharks in Durban in the Challenge Cup quarter-finals next Saturday.
The South African side were emphatic 47-3 winners over Zebre on Sunday afternoon to book their place in the last eight.
Sharks ran in seven tries in a one-sided contest, with Vincent Tshituka, Werner Kok, Corne Rahl, Aphelele Fassi, Phepsi Buthelezi, Ethan Hooker and Curwin Bosch all crossing.
It means Edinburgh - who booked their place in the quarter-finals by beating Bayonne at Scottish Gas Murrayfield on Saturday - will return to Durban two weeks after they were well-beaten by Sharks.
It will also mean another return to his former club for Edinburgh boss Sean Everitt.

The quarter-final tie will be played on Saturday at 1.30pm.
If Edinburgh were to cause an upset at King's Park and reach the semi-finals, they would face the winners of the quarter-final between Clefmont Auvergne or Ulster in the last four on the first weekend in May.
