Franco Smith has welcomed back Sebastian Cancelliere to his team to face Benetton on Saturday afternoon as one of two changes from the side that defeated Dragons.
Glasgow Warriors ran out 40-7 winners at Scotstoun two weeks ago after an explosive start that saw them score two tries in the first three minutes of the match. A trip to Benetton offers a different challenge with the Italians unbeaten at home all season and Smith has brought in Cancelliere for the first time since the defeat to Northampton when he suffered a neck injury.
He comes into the back three to start on the wing with Facundo Cordero continuing on the other side having scored on his debut against Dragons. Josh McKay completes that three by starting at full back having scored a try after 30 seconds last time out.
The centre partnership stays the same with Tom Jordan and Stafford McDowall starting, with the latter captaining the team once again. There is a change in the half backs with Jamie Dobie moving from the wing into scrum half to partner Ross Thompson while Ben Afshar drops to the bench.
The front row is where the other change is with Nathan MacBeth coming in to start at loose-head in place of Scotland international Jamie Bhatti, while Luca Sordoni continues at tight-head and Johnny Matthews has been released from the Six Nations squad to play at hooker again.
Former Scotland U20 pair Alex Samuel and Max Williamson continued in the second row while it's Euan Ferrie at blindside, Thomas Gordon at openside and Henco Venter at number 8 to complete the team.
The bench is split into a 6/2 shape with Afshar joined by Duncan Weir to cover the backs while Ally Miller and Allan Dell are among those in the forwards after recovering from injury. Miller hasn't played since the win over Toulon in January while Dell has been absent since November's win over Benetton at Scotstoun. They are joined by Olie Kebble, Gregor Hiddleston, Angus Fraser and Sintu Manjezi on the bench.
