MILLER Richard Richard Miller, of Hampton Bishop, died at home on Tuesday 23rd January aged 85. Dr Miller was one of the founding members of St Michael's Hospice in Bartestree. He later became a Trustee and Life Patron of the charity. In the past year or so, he had been receiving care from St Michael's. He had written that this care "exceeded even my wildest expectations". Richard's life will be celebrated during a Memorial Service at Hereford Cathedral on Friday 10th May at 2pm. The service will be led by the Very Rev Sarah Brown and is open to everyone. There is no requirement to book places, but those wishing to attend are encouraged to arrive at Hereford Cathedral in plenty of time to secure a place.
