DRAPER Alexander Guy Jessop Died on 14th November 2023, at St. Michael's Hospice, 3 days after his 55th birthday. Beloved elder son of Cathie and Peter, much loved and admired by his brother Tim, sister in law Rachel and nieces Florence and Rose and especially loved by Alex's adored Kate. Loved and will be missed enormously by aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins as well as by many friends, colleagues and the wider community in Eardisley and across the country. Deputy Head Chorister and Boy Bishop at Hereford Cathedral in his younger days and later a much admired teacher at Lady Hawkins' School, Kington and a great inspiration to many with his wide knowledge, wisdom, wit, music and fun personality. Funeral Service followed by burial at St Mary Magdalene Church, Eardisley on 8th December at 12.00 mid-day. Bright ties and scarves appreciated. Family flowers only and donations welcomed for St Michael's Hospice, Bartestree and for The Brain Tumour Charity.
