GRIFFITHS Michael John Francis "Mike" of Rockfield, Monmouth (formerly of The Reading Room, Wormelow) Peacefully passed away on Thursday 2nd November 2023, aged 67 years. Much loved Husband of Linda, best friend of Flo the dog, Little Brother of Sue, Mo and Di and a beloved Uncle and Great Uncle who will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral service at St David's Church, Much Dewchurch on Thursday 23rd November at 2:00 pm, followed by burial in the churchyard. By request family flowers only. If desired donations in memory of Mike for The Injured Jockeys Fund may be given online at www.ernest-heal.co.uk, placed in the donations box at the church or sent to Ernest Heal & Sons Funeral Directors, Chippenham Funeral Home, Howells Place, Monmouth, NP25 3ED (Please make cheques payable to Ernest Heal & Sons Donations Account)

I started Kingstone school with Mike on the same day in September 1967 and was a classmate throughout the next 5 years. I played football with him and enjoyed the football training after school once a week and Mike's father would come and pick us up. We also enjoyed time together in the school holidays. Unfortunately when I left school my chosen career took me away from Hereford and we never saw each other again.
This is a life taken far to soon.
My condolences to the family and may Mike RIP.
