Franco Smith praised his Glasgow Warriors side for finding a way to win despite not being at their collective best against Cardiff on Friday night.
The Warriors boss admitted his side relied heavily on individual moments of brilliance in the eight-try, 52-36 thumping of the Welsh outfit.

Here's what the Warriors boss had to say post-match as he summed up a second consecutive URC win of the season.
Post-match assessment...
"We showed some individual brilliance to still score a lot of points and we were grateful for that and as a result the team won, I would rather win that way than not.
"We made nine changes from last weekend and so we see these first three or four games as a first part of the season leading up to the Autumn Tests and basically part of the pre-season.
"We finished very late and had a lot of players away with Scotland and they came in late, did not play pre-season games, 14 players played their first game against Ulster, we made six changes last week, nine today so it is about getting everybody up to par.
"Cardiff did not stop fighting, sometimes when we are numbers down you get a better collective effort as well, and who would not want to beat Glasgow now."
Clear there is a target on Glasgow's backs?
"We are a championship-winning team but this is a new challenge. It has got nothing to do with last year. I am trying to keep that expectation away from the team and stay in the process of getting all the players on par for ourselves, but also so Scotland can have all their players fit and go at their business.
"There are a lot of objectives, and winning is part of it, so if we progress and win, and learn from our lessons, we'll get a good product again.
How good was Sione Tuipulotu?
"He is playing some really good rugby. He works hard, he's a good team man and he wears his heart on his sleeve.
It is everything a coach can be proud of. I am glad for him he is on a roll and getting better."
Can you enjoy a match like that as a coach?
"Does a coach ever enjoy a game? I am so hard on what I want to achieve, even if there are some good actions, it has to be perfect.
"It was important for us to stick to the process and back our ability to get us across the line."
What have you learned about your team's progress?
"We can find a way to win, which is important. We can problem solve on the go. We were under pressure from a breakdown perspective and made a lot of unforced errors but we were able to stop the bleeding then find a way back into the game and continue to progress towards the last 5-10 minutes of the game.
"There was nine changes from last week and it was important for those guys to find their feet against an inspired Cardiff team. It is not always about us - Cardiff must be complimented for the fight they put into the game and the way they put us under pressure.
Sione Tuipulotu told Premier Sports he was worried about the 'wrath' of Franco Smith. Is he right to be worried?
"I am sure he was surprised. I am disappointed Sione said that because yes we are striving to get better but the message was not at all that.
"As a collective we weren't on par tonight but that is the main message. It is an easy fix."
Does the last 10 minutes show progress of the team?
"Yes, definitely. We were completely rattled at one stage, but the way we then problem solved and got back to the process...Ben Afshar came on at scrum-half and took control.
"The progress sits with the continued growth of the players. We've got to experience certain things to know the antidote for it. "
What did you make of Jack Dempsey and Huw Jones on their first appearances of the season?
"Compliments to the conditioning team. Two important players playing their first games. Throw in Scott Cummings, who played 60 minutes tonight and 40 last week after his injury.
"Those two boys [Dempsey and Jones] stepped up, looked well conditioned and recovered from their injuries so they will add value going forward."
