Sean Everitt remains hopeful of retaining the services of Duhan van der Merwe despite reported interest in the Scotland wing from France.
La Rochelle are reportedly keen on signing the British and Irish Lion, while Bayonne and Lyon are also interested, according to RugbyPass.
The Edinburgh head coach addressed those reports in the wake of his side's 38-7 win over Stormers on Saturday night.

“We want to keep Duhan in Scotland if we can,” Everitt said.
“We desperately do want to keep him here, so we'll do the best we can.
“We're in the process of contracting for season 2025-2026 at the moment. We'll cross that bridge when it comes to it.”
Van der Merwe became Scotland's all-time leading try-scorer in the summer, overtaking Stuart Hogg when he scored in the summer tour win over Uruguay.

The winger is in his second spell with Edinburgh, having left to join Worcester ahead of the 2021–22 season.
But the financial collapse of the Premiership club saw the winger, whose career started at Montpellier, return to the Scottish capital a year later.
