It took almost a decade for Stuart Hogg to break the record number of tries scored for Scotland that was set by Ian Smith in the 1920s and 30s, and equalled by Tony Stanger in the 1990s.

To be exact, Smith's record stood for 88 years, nine months, and 17 days before it was broken by Hogg, who finished his Test career on 27 tries.

But the former Scotland captain was top of the pack for just two years, eight months, and eight days himself before Duhan van der Merwe became the new number one, after he crossed against Uruguay in Montevideo.

Here is a look back at every one of Duhan's record-breaking tally.
