DRAYCOTT Eleanor Anne Of Charlbury, Oxfordshire Sadly passed away at The John Radcliffe Hospital surrounded by her family on 24th July 2023, aged 38 years. Beloved Daughter of Terry and Gill and loving Fiancé to Tom. Eleanor's funeral will be a private, family only service and interment at St Mary's, Kentchurch. A memorial service will be held in Oxfordshire in early September. Donations, if desired, given in Eleanor's memory will be for Sobell House Hospice and may be sent c/o Cherished Funerals, Independent Family Funeral Directors, Longtown, Hereford, HR2 0LX. Eleanor was my Service Desk Manager at Leeds Beckett University and I had the privilege of working with her for over a year. There was noone quite like her. She brought a bright and unique perspective to all of us who worked with her.

I have know about this loss for a week or so now and still cannot quite believe it. The family don't know me but I thought they'd appreciate knowing the difference she made at work.

I remember encouraging her once with the phrase "So shines a good deed on a weary world" from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This will always be a moment that I remember her by.

It is with a heavy heart that I heard about this and my prayers are with Tom and the family.

I was very honoured when Gill & Terry asked me to be Eleanor's godmother. I saw a lot of her in her early years and was christened Auntie BeBe. I remember she really didn't like going out for walks, complaing about achy legs, at one point. Over the years we did rather lose contact but I heard about how well she was doing in her career.
