Don Millar was an unusual man of many talents from a family linked to the theatre;
he loved history and drama, contributing to different Societies of Leominster- much
through his expertise of computer skills having worked with the Orphans Press in Leominster. He came to work at The Golden Lion for the Millenium Year where he created during the following decade the Office and Research Dept collating all manner of Historical material, producing booklets and other designs for us. A good manager he was a great source of help to many groups in town, well known for his various Pub Quizzes, and especially for helping to create, plan and promote the Leominster Festival in its first decade. His devotion to his wife Marlene and family was much respected. His genial humour and enthusiastic personality will be much missed by all who were fortunate to have known him.
