TOWNSEND - John Died peacefully, with his family beside him, on Monday 19th December 2022, aged 88 years. Loving husband of the late Kath. Father of Chris, Pete, Louise and the late Mike. Father-in-law; Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. A service to celebrate John's life will be held at the Church of St. Mary, King's Pyon at 12 midday on Saturday 14th January 2023. Dress code: personal choice. Family flowers only, but donations are invited for St. Michael's Hospice and The Royal British Legion. Funeral Arrangements by Oak Tree Funeral Services. John and Kathleen were our oldest friends.

We first met in 1957 and the four of us enjoyed so many occasions and get-togethers both in this County and abroad.

We (my wife Eve and I) are so saddened by their passing, but will always remember the happy times and other memories spent together.
