HUDSON Martin Tragically and Suddenly. Beloved Husband, Brother and Friend died whilst out walking on Thursday 2nd December 2021 aged 64 years. Words cannot express the pain of this parting. Funeral service to be held at St Steffen Church, Llanstephan, Brecon, Powys LD3 0YR on Wednesday 5th January 2022 at 1.00 pm followed by burial. Family flowers only, donations if desired are to be shared between Friends of Leominster Canal and St Steffan Church. All enquiries to: Dawe Brothers 01432 274066

I worked with Martin on and off for thirty years. He was such a kind man who was highly intelligent, he encouraged me to go to university and become a design engineer.

I've only just read this and it is so very sad. I worked with Martin on and off for many years, first starting in the late 80s. Martin was incredibly intelligent but more importantly he was a really nice person, one who was always willing to help.

An untimely sad and tragic loss of a great friend and the founding voice of Friends of the Leominster Canal. Our thoughts are for Kath and the whole family. Photograph: Martins greatest enjoyment was a new discovery on the Leominster Canal, sharing it and talking about it.
