GRIFFITHS Cynthia Of Withington passed away peacefully at home on 11th of May, 2021 in her 87th year. Predeceased by her husband Glyn and survived by her sister Josephine and brother Nicholas and five nephews and nieces. The family would like to thank Jo Henshaw and Cynthia's many carers who looked after her in recent years. A private funeral will be held in Hereford followed, when circumstances permit, by a celebration of Cynthia's life for family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Research UK (https://www.alzheimersresearchuk.org)

Cynthia was a member of the Frome Court Book group for many years and her scholarly and forthright views were most welcome at our meetings. She was a great friend.A couple of the group attended the Birmingham exhibition of Glyn' s work and were able to describe it to Cynthia.
