Tony Corby was such a good friend to the village and to everyone he met. He was, I think, the gentlest, most generous, kindest man I have ever had the good fortune to count as a friend and colleague. He had a wonderful sense of humour and he could cheer anyone up just by chatting to them for a few minutes. Tony was one of those very rare people who just made you feel good when you talked to him. He was an essential part of the heart of Fownhope village and he will be sorely missed by all.

Our sincere condolences to Ann and the family. Very sad news: Tony was a good friend and co-committee member during the time we lived in Fownhope.
