DOUGLAS LESLIE AFFORD From Blackbarn Farm Passed away in his sleep at Broomy Hill Nursing Home on June 25th 2020, aged 83. Beloved Brother of Cherry his sister and Brother In Law Melvyn. Funeral to be arranged and a private Ceremony with family and close friends.

My sincere condolences to the family of Doug Afford. I first met Doug as a child when I lived in Maple grove Hinton Hfd, He visited his gran in our street. He was a very friendly person and we got on very well. Later in life, when I was 17, I took up salmon fishing and Doug generously gave me salmon spinners to start me off. He was a very kind person. I have the fondest memories and I will miss him immensely.
