DOREEN BLAKE Died peacefully on June 26th, 2020, aged 88 at Coldwell's House. Devoted Wife of the late Fred, much loved Mother to Nick and Julie, Mother in Law to Shane and Karen, loving Nan to Kate, Becky, Emily and Megan and Great Nan to Jacob, Betsy and Noah. Private funeral. Family flowers only.

I was good friends with Nick when we both started at the High School in 1969.After school we would often go to his house on Ross Road and play on the putting green they had developed on their pristine back garden. Both of Nick’s parents always made us feel very welcome. I remember that Fred used to work at Chadds and Doreen used to work at M & S.
