EVELYN MARY BENNETT (nee LANE) 'MARY' Died on December 16th, aged 96, after a short illness. Widow of Boy and Sister of Edward. Beloved Aunt, Great-Aunt and Great-Great-Aunt. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at Holy Trinity Bosbury on Friday, January 10th, at 2 p.m. No flowers please, but donations if desired to Bosbury Church c/o Ledbury Funeralcare Bye Street, Ledbury, HR8 2AA.

Evelyn Mary Bennett was my Godmother and although I met her very few times in my life because I live in Canada, she was a lovely, lively and formidable in conversation. I wrote to her before Christmas and when I didn't receive a card I knew that something had happened.
I want to be just like her when I'm in my nineties, playing bridge, visiting family and friends and living on my own!
My sincere condolences to her family and friends.
I will miss her!
