VALERIE ANN ELLERBY 'VAL' It's with deepest sorrow we announce that Val passed away peacefully at Hereford County Hospital, on September 8th, 2019, aged 80 years. A loving Partner to Jan, dearly loved Cousin to David, Myfanwy and Lorraine. A Service to celebrate Val's life will take place at the Hereford Crematorium on Monday, September 23rd, 2019, at 11.15 a.m. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to St Michael's Hospice. I have only just seen this, but have to say that I am very sorry to read of Val's death. When I was a young auditor back in the early 1970s, she was very kind to me when our firm visited the firm at which she was working, and she was equally as nice when I called in with my wife in 1982 on the off chance of saying Hi, as it was my first time back in Hereford for 7 or 8 years. It was very poignant that Val died on the very same day that my wife and I were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary at Lake Como, Italy, where we had spent our honeymoon. R.I.P Val - I am very happy that our paths crossed in this life and I look forward to seeing you again when it is my turn to make that journey into the next one.
