HEWITSON Neil Patrick Peacefully at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital on September 14th, 2018, aged 71 years. Formerly of Hereford, Presteigne and ex Bulmers, son of the late Bill and Cath Hewitson. Beloved Partner of Jean, much loved Dad of Sebastian and Rebecca. Devoted Grandad to Francesca and Huxley, adored Brother of Cherith and Lorraine and loved Uncle. He will be sadly missed by all his Family and Friends. A Celebration of his Life will be held at Hereford Crematorium, Westfaling Street, Hereford HR4 0JE on Friday, October 5th at 1.30 p.m., followed by a gathering at The Secret Garden, Coldwells Road, Hereford, HR1 1LH. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital c/o Bayley Brothers, Dignity Funeral Services. 17/19, Cotterell St. Hereford. HR4 0HH.

It saddens me to read of Neils passing, we lived four doors apart growing up as kids. I have fond memories of us and friends Alister Cullen, John Bromidge and Phil Donovan. We had some great times during our summer holidays back in the 50's, Wallses wood comes to mind, bows and arrows, trollies made with wood and old pram wheels. I still have a couple of photos that I will treasure.
