Glasgow Coach Gregor Townsend surprised Hogg with the Six Nations Player of the Championship award, and it’s hilarious.
This morning Stuart Hogg was voted ‘Player of the Championship’ for his heroics over the RBS Six Nations, and his Glasgow Warriors coach (and soon to be Scotland’s head honcho) Gregor Townsend had a little surprise in store for him.
But he wasn’t going to get the award without a good old fashioned roasting beforehand – to the delight of his Warrior teammates.
You’d think he’d be used to it after Townsend did the same the same thing last year when he won the award, but clearly not.
You’d ALSO think he’d be used to shocks after Scotland’s stand in captain John Barclay spent the duration of the Six Nations playing pranks on Hogg.
Either way, let’s hope Hogg keeps surprising opposition on the field and off for Scotland.
